Service Overview and Scope of Application

These Terms of Service define the conditions for using the website, online shop, subscription service, and other related services (collectively "the Service") provided by Seasonal Clay Market ("the Company"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. These terms are an important document governing the contractual relationship between customers and the Company.

User Registration and Membership

User registration is required to use some features of the Service. Please provide accurate and current information during registration. If false information is provided, we may suspend or delete your account. Users under 18 must obtain parental consent before use. Account management is your responsibility, and we ask for appropriate management to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.

Product Orders and Purchase Procedures

Product orders are accepted through website procedures, phone, or email. After order confirmation, the sales contract is established upon receipt of our confirmation email. Product prices, specifications, and stock status may change without notice. Limited products will end sales when stock is depleted. Please contact us promptly regarding input errors or changes during ordering.

Payment Methods and Settlement Conditions

Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, cash on delivery, and other methods. For credit card payments, settlement processing occurs upon order confirmation. For bank transfers, products are shipped after payment confirmation. Orders may be cancelled if payment deadlines are exceeded. Payment-related fees are borne by the customer.

Shipping and Delivery

Product shipping is handled by our designated shipping companies. Shipping fees are required separately from product prices. Delivery is limited to within Japan. We accommodate delivery date and time requests within possible ranges. Shipping may be delayed due to weather or traffic conditions. Redelivery during absence follows shipping company regulations. Please contact us promptly regarding damage or loss.

Return, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product arrival for unused and unopened products only. For customer-initiated returns, return shipping costs are borne by the customer. For defective products, we will promptly exchange or refund. Custom-made products, food items, and hygiene products are excluded from returns. Please contact us by phone or email in advance if you wish to return items.

Subscription Service Special Terms

The subscription service delivers seasonal pottery every three months. Service begins with the first product shipment after application. For cancellation, please contact us at least 14 days before the next scheduled shipment date. Product contents are carefully selected by us and cannot be changed in advance. Address changes must be communicated at least 7 days before the scheduled shipment date.

Intellectual Property Protection

Intellectual property rights for content, trademarks, logos, images, text, and other materials included in the Service belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders. Unauthorized use, reproduction, republication, or distribution is prohibited. Reviews and photos posted by customers may be used for Service improvement and promotional purposes. Acts that infringe third-party intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Acts and Usage Restrictions

The following acts are prohibited when using the Service: providing false information, harassing other users, unauthorized system access, unauthorized commercial use, acts violating laws, acts contrary to public order and morals, acts damaging the Company's reputation. When such acts are confirmed, we may take measures including warnings, account suspension, or legal action.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except as required by law. This applies similarly to temporary system outages, data loss, unauthorized third-party access, etc. Accidents or damages from product use will be addressed within the scope of Product Liability Law. The Company's liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer.

Personal Information Handling

Customer personal information is appropriately managed according to our Privacy Policy. Information may be provided to third parties such as shipping companies and payment processors within the scope necessary for service provision. Personal information will not be used for purposes other than marketing without customer consent. Inquiries regarding personal information handling are accepted through our dedicated contact point.

Service Changes and Suspension

The Company may change, add, or delete Service content with advance notice. Services may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, technical issues, legal requirements, etc. If service termination is decided, we will provide advance notice with an appropriate period. The Company is not liable for damages arising from these changes.

Terms Changes and Notification

The Company may change these terms as necessary due to legal amendments, business changes, or other reasons. Important changes will be communicated to customers in advance through website postings or email notifications. Revised terms take effect from the date of posting. If you do not agree to changes, please discontinue use of the Service.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted according to Japanese law. Disputes regarding the Service will first be resolved through consultation between parties. If resolution through consultation is not possible, the district court having jurisdiction over the Company's location shall be the exclusive agreed jurisdiction court for first instance. For international disputes, applicable international law and treaties will also be considered.
